Tas High Voltage Maintenance is a mobile contractor that offers assessments, repairs and maintenance work for high voltage equipment in Tasmania and surrounding areas. The company is owned and operated by husband and wife team Stephen and Rebecca von Stieglitz.

Stephen is a mobile contractor who has the skills to assess, repair and maintain high voltage equipment. During his 18 years of experience in extra High Voltage SubStations, he has received extensive training and knowledge in working with high voltage equipment
(11, 22, 33, 44, 110 & 220 KV).
Becoming a SubStation Operator requires an individual to possess at least 10 years of post-trade experience, then a further two-year on-the-job-training. These requirements have made this line of work a very specialised field where very few are trained to compete.
Specific Qualifications and Training:
- 18 years of experience in extra High Voltage SubStations, maintaining all types of apparatus and working with SF6
- Training, skills and expertise in working with High Voltage (11, 22, 33, 44, 110 & 220 KV)
- Distribution and Transmission Operating Qualifications gained through previous employment at TasNetworks
- PSSR Issuing Officer
- Ability to provide training on the basic skill of switching/operating
- Current Electricians License
- Guided by Work Place Health and Safety rules and regulations
- First Aid Training Certificate
- Up to date Vaccinations (COVID, Flu, etc.)
